Brain child

Today we went to Debbie Howard's Gym for a couple of hours. Munchkin had lots of fun. He has officially conquered the foam pit that I once had to rescue him from. He also loved walking on the balance beams.

Probably his favorite part was a little car that had the characters from Winnie the Pooh on it. Underneath the steering wheel were four characters in barrels. Each barrel was controlled by a button. The character would pop up out of the barrel if you could figure out how to maneuver the button. You may have to push it, twist it, turn it or flip it. Munchkin was mesmerized. He played with that thing for the majority of the morning. As all the other kids were running around being athletic, Munchkin was down on his knees getting a closer look at how the car worked. A true engineer at work. Sheer concentration. I'm not saying that Munchkin doesn't like running around, climbing, jumping, being athletic, I just know he is so much like his daddy; the brain of an engineer for sure! :)
